What is Gavety?
Gavety is a software platform that enables users to remotely access, manage, and transfer data stored on their own hardware devices over the internet. It operates as a peer-to-peer connectivity layer — not as a traditional cloud storage provider.

Data Transmission
Gavety uses peer-to-peer connections wherever possible. When a direct P2P connection cannot be established (for example, due to a strict firewall or CGNAT), data may pass through our encrypted relay servers temporarily. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for service operation and legal compliance. Connection metadata and session logs are automatically purged from our signaling servers after each session ends.
Security
We implement reasonable security measures including TLS 1.3 for all connections, AES-256 encryption, and automatic brute force protection on device access. However, no system is completely secure. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18 years of age. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us to request removal.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting our support team. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with applicable law.
Limitation of Liability for Data Loss
Gavety operates as a connectivity platform and does not store user data by default. Users are responsible for their own backups and device security.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gavety is not liable for data loss caused by:
- User device failures
- Compromised credentials
- Network issues
- Cyber attacks
- Improper use of the service
Nothing in this clause limits liability where prohibited by applicable law.
Updates
